Connecting to Our Audio Stream

Recently we've received reports of listeners being unable to connect to the WKHR audio stream and receiving a message similar to "Listenership is at full capacity". We have a listener capacity of 175 "standard" listeners. If you log in and you're number 176, you'll get this message. However, there is an easy work-around... you can become a VIP member of Live 365. VIP members can log on to any channel at any time. They not only have listening priority, they will not receive ads or pop-ups. VIP membership costs as little as $5.95/month... about 20 cents a day. That's pretty cheap for 24 hours of entertainment. See the Live 365 site for details. Note that this membership fee is imposed by (and goes to) Live 365, NOT WKHR.

Its great to hear Paul Wisely speaking again on Thursday mornings. His music choice is second to none. But what happens to the station after Paul goes home. Nothing. That tired old Rube Goldberg program plays for the rest of the day. I wish Paul could do another hour. It is so enjoyable.

Glad to hear Ziggy back. he always plays my requests which by the way, differ from the usual array of repeat requests like 3Suns Peg O My Heart and Play some Music for Broken Hearts, Don Cornell. Thank you friend Ziggy for an enjoyable music selection.Best wishes for a Happy New year.

Just curious Mr. Nicholas Olmos. Slidemeister of Mr. Fedor? WKHR is available to listen to anywhere in the world, one can connect to the internet. In Ohio it is on the Northeastern Ohio FM Frequency of 91.5. Do you need a special reciever in Lima Peru, to get this radio station? My guess is they don't have radio stations like WKHR down there.

I'm having a devil of a time trying to connect to the online audio streaming via iTunes.

I'm an Apple user. When I click on the link on your site for iTunes, it downloads an audio file into my iTunes with a message about contributing funds to the station.

And that's all. No audio streaming or anything.

When I click on the "if you're having trouble link," it downloads a quicktime audio file that won't play.

Any helpful advice anyone can offer as to how I can listen online?

I hate to see negative comments about your station. My wife and I have been listening on line for more than two years now and find the music brings back memories that we had back in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. We appreciate all the volunteers and music they play. I have a ton of 78s and 33s I'd like to donate to the station. Keeps up the good work. Thanks so much!
